Opening Day 2007 has finally arrived. Break out the bats and the balls--the new season is here! The grass is green, and the stadiums are refurbished for the start of a new season. Baseball is back in the DAS!

Marred by front-office turnover after last season, the American All-Stars ushered in Jay Hanson as their new general manager today, The 27-year-old told the fans and media during a press conference that he expected to earn their support.
"I'm not going to mince words," promised Hanson. "I haven't earned your respect yet. If I do, it will be because I've put together a solid ballclub with the attitude it takes to compete at this level. I have a lot of confidence in my ability to do so, and I think there's enough talent here to start building something special."
