Kings Hammered by McCutchen, Drop Game 4 to Thunder Choppers
Handed an opportunity to take a commanding lead in the Championship Series, the Virginia Kings could not close the deal.

Game 4 went into extra frames and the New York Thunder Choppers emerged victorious, taking a 10-inning, 8-5 win. New York left fielder Andrew McCutchen went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once in the win at Kings Park today to drag the Thunder Choppers back to parity. The clubs are now tied 2-2 in the best-of-7 series.

New York needed the clutch hitting of Harrison Bader to notch the win. The center fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Thunder Choppers on top, 7-5. For the game, Bader had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

Bader called the triumph "a good team win."

Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow in Vienna. The scheduled starters for the game are Brandon Woodruff for New York and Lance McCullers Jr. for Virginia.
