Komodos Deal Thunder Choppers Painful Loss
The Chicago Komodos topped the New York Thunder Choppers, 1-0, in Dream Team Baseball League action at The Dragon Den. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Raleigh, North Carolina, native Chris Archer. In 9 innings, Archer surrendered no hits, while striking out 11 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Komodos.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Nelson Cruz had a chance to end it. New York pitcher Craig Kimbrel had other ideas. But with no outs, Cruz hit a sacrifice fly. The Komodos had the win.

Archer described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
