Moonshiners Top Cougars, 5-2, Behind McKay

Washington and Indiana duked it out and the Moonshiners came out victorious.
The Washington Moonshiners got a strong performance from pitcher Brendan McKay, who stymied the Indiana offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Cougar Coliseum. Roberto Osuna notched his 30th save in 34 chances.
McKay threw well for Washington, thwarting the Indiana offense. The left-hander tossed 101 pitches over 7 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 4 hits.
"I had a good game plan," said McKay. "I made my pitches." His manager concurred. "It was all there," said, "the velocity, the sharpness of his pitches."
The 9th-place Cougars have lost 5 consecutive games.
