Indiana played host to Texas at the friendly confines of Cougar Coliseum.

The Indiana Cougars defeated the Texas Jackalope, 3-1, in Dream Team Baseball League action at Cougar Coliseum. Indiana pitcher Marcus Stroman had a standout performance. Stroman, now 2-0, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 0, and allowing 1 run.

Indiana took a 3-1 lead on Tommy Pham's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run came off Texas pitcher Garrett Richards in the bottom of the seventh.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Texas skipper , "and it cost us."

The defeat makes Texas 4-5.
