New York Advances to World Series Monday, September 28th, 2020 The New York Thunder Choppers are one step closer to winning a World Series, and the season came to a close for the Virginia Kings. New York won the Championship Series 4-2, with a 6-4 victory in the deciding game at The Landing Pad today. New York third baseman Brian Anderson was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .435 with a .435 on-base percentage. He had 3 homers, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs. "I just hope I can keep it up in the World Series," he said. The New York Thunder Choppers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Colorado Demigods - Maui Mavericks series. Maui leads the series 3 games to 2. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 1st, 2020.
