Moonshiners No Match for Gray, Cougars in 15-0 Thumping Tuesday, May 26th, 2020 Sonny Gray of the Indiana Cougars spun his magic on the Washington Moonshiners today. He blanked them 15-0 on 1 hit, registering 9 strikeouts and no walks. "The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Gray said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down." Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, Indiana skipper said the team "got solid pitching, good defense and took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations." "Sonny pitched really well but this was a solid performance by everyone," he said. Thus far this season, Gray has worked 65.2 innings with 74 strikeouts en route to a 5-4 record and a 4.52 ERA.
