Season-Ending Injury for Means
Wednesday, May 27th, 2020
John Means had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Baltimore medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Baltimore starting pitcher suffered a torn labrum in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year.

This year Means has made 11 starts, thrown 48 innings, fanned 43 batters and walked 18. His won-lost record is 3-5 with a 7.13 ERA.
