League Suspends Rickard and Pena for Brawl Friday, July 3rd, 2020 If there wasn't a history between Joey Rickard of Sacramento and Felix Pena of Salt Lake, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 5 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Rickard said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Currently Rickard is batting .303 with 8 home runs and 46 RBIs. |
