Bolt 5-for-5 for Las Vegas Sunday, July 12th, 2020 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Skye Bolt today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Cheney Stadium and paced the Aviators to a 8-5 win over the Tacoma Rainiers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Las Vegas right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Skye Bolt hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. This year Bolt is hitting .321 with 11 home runs. |
