Star of the Week Selected in AC Monday, July 13th, 2020 26-year-old Tyrone Taylor made a few San Antonio headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and American Conference officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 21 at-bats to put up a .619 average. Taylor collected 4 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 9 runs. Taylor is hitting .312 this year with 14 home runs and 44 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .413, 40 walks and scored 62 times. |
