Freeman Belts Bunch of Base Hits Monday, May 18th, 2020 It was a big day for Ronnie Freeman and he brought the Las Vegas Aviators along for the ride. Freeman led his club to a 21-3 victory over the Reno Aces today at Greater Nevada Field, smoking Reno pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 29-year-old catcher later called the victory "sweet." Ronnie Freeman doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th. This season Freeman is swinging the bat at a .466 pace. He has hit 1 home run and scored 15 times, while driving in 17. His on-base percentage is .522 and he has played in 17 games. |
