Mariscal Smacks 6 Hits for Rainiers Friday, May 29th, 2020 Chris Mariscal was on fire today and sparked his club to a 8-6 victory over the Isotopes. The Tacoma third baseman was a tough out and went 6-for-8 against Albuquerque in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Chris Mariscal singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jason Hammel in the 7th, singled in the 9th, struck out in the 10th, singled in the 12th, struck out in the 14th and hit a solo-shot off Brandon Maurer in the 17th. This year Mariscal is hitting .273 with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs in 16 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .342 with 6 walks and 11 runs scored. |
