Cashner Has Season End Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Albuquerque's Andrew Cashner to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 06/20/2020 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Cashner said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Cashner has been out of action since he suffered bone chips in his elbow. He has made 9 relief appearances this year with 0 saves. Cashner has achieved a 1-1 record while holding opposing hitters to a .303 batting average and posting a 4.91 ERA. He has tossed 47.2 innings, given up 60 base hits, fanned 40 and issued 17 walks. |
