Bauers Takes EL's Best Bat Trophy Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 Akron RubberDucks fans believe they've got a talented young star in Jake Bauers. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .300 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 27 runs scored. The end result was the first baseman being named the Eastern League Batter of the Month. So far this season Bauers is batting .300 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 27 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 100 at-bats, 18 walks and a .407 OBP. Bauers has played in 26 games. |
