SL Star of the Week Picked Monday, June 8th, 2020 At the age of 29, Danny Hayes might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Pensacola first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .381 batting average. For his efforts Hayes collected the Southern League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. To date Hayes has chalked up a .281 average with 10 home runs, driven in 20 runs and scored 24 times. |
