CAL Star of the Week Honored Monday, July 13th, 2020 So far in his young career, Ryan Ward has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the California League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Rancho Cucamonga Quakes left fielder hit at a torrid .542 clip as he collected 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Ward is hitting at a .476 pace with 5 home runs, 10 RBIs and has scored 8 times. |
