This promising rookie shortstop for Lake Elsinore garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 19-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .586 (17-for-29) with 1 home run and 8 RBIs last week. For the season Abrams is currently batting .398 with 4 home runs and 35 RBIs.
