CAL's Top Player Named Monday, June 15th, 2020 So far in his young career, Victor Acosta has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the California League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Inland Empire 66ers left fielder hit at a torrid .526 clip as he collected 10 hits in 19 at-bats, 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. For the year Acosta has hit .420 with 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 24 runs. |
