Lancaster right fielder Jack Larsen had a big day at San Manuel Stadium today against the Inland Empire 66ers. The 25-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the JetHawks to a 5-3 triumph over Inland Empire.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Larsen said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Jack Larsen doubled in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, walked in the 10th, doubled in the 12th and hit a two-run home run off Erick Julio in the 14th.
