Thompson Stretches Hit String to 25 Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 Nobody has been able to shut down Down East Wood Ducks center fielder Bubba Thompson in recent days. The Fredericksburg Nationals fared no better than the rest. Today at New Fredericksburg Ballpark, Thompson picked up 2 hits in 5 at-bats en route to a 5-3 Wood Ducks victory.
