Carolina-Fayetteville Free-for-All Gets 2-Game Suspensions Friday, June 5th, 2020 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Carolina and Fayetteville game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Devin Hairston of the Mudcats and Tommy DeJuneas of the Woodpeckers have now been reprimanded and issued 2-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. This season Hairston has hit at a .272 clip with 12 RBIs, 1 home runs and 19 runs scored. He has played in 29 games. Here are his stats for this season: DeJuneas has chalked up no saves and fashioned a record of 2 wins and 1 losses with a 3.78 ERA. He has made 21 relief appearances, thrown 33.1 innings and struck out 37. |
