Fredericksburg Starter Named CAR's Top Pitcher Wednesday, July 1st, 2020 In June, Eddy Yean tore through the Carolina League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 19 years old. The young Fredericksburg starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.26 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 28.2 innings he collected 25 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .186 average. In pitching stats this season Yean has rung up 6 wins and 5 losses in 15 games. He has an ERA of 2.55 and has fanned 77 batters in 81.1 innings. |
