Season Over for Klimek Thursday, July 9th, 2020 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Quad Cities River Bandits: reliever Steven Klimek is out for the year. Klimek suffered shoulder inflammation on 07/07/2020. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. This season Klimek has made 18 relief appearances, pitched 28.2 innings and struck out 34 with a record of no wins and 1 loss. He has compiled a 5.97 ERA and saved 2 games. |
