Machado Rips Dayton for 5 Hits Saturday, May 9th, 2020 Peoria Chiefs center fielder Jonatan Machado went 5-for-6 today and paced Peoria to a 14-6 victory over the Dayton Dragons at Day Air Ballpark. "Well, that was fun," Machado said following the game. Jonatan Machado singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a sac fly in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Machado is batting .463 this year with no home runs, 3 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 25 hits in 54 at-bats. |
