Injury Sidelines Keirsey for Season Saturday, May 16th, 2020 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Cedar Rapids's DaShawn Keirsey to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 05/14/2020 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Keirsey said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Keirsey has been out of action since he suffered a ruptured achilles tendon. This season Keirsey has 1 home run and a .310 batting average. |
