Taylor 5-for-7 for River Bandits Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 No matter what the Clinton LumberKings threw him today, Chandler Taylor hit it. The 24-year-old Quad Cities River Bandits right fielder racked up 5 hits in 7 at-bats today at Modern Woodmen Park and led the River Bandits to a 11-9 victory. Chandler Taylor singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, struck out in the 7th, flied out in the 10th and hit a two-run home run off Luis Palacios in the 13th. Taylor has collected 49 hits for the River Bandits this year, 13 of them home runs. He has also netted 41 RBIs and scored 28 runs while batting .301. |
