5-for-5 Game for Julien Thursday, July 9th, 2020 Elizabethton right fielder Edouard Julien had a big day at Pioneer Park today against the Greeneville Reds. The 21-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Twins to a 8-7 triumph over Greeneville. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Julien said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Edouard Julien singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jake Gilbert in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year Julien is hitting .419 with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .471 clip and scored 10 runs. |
