Great Day for Bradley -- 5 Hits Thursday, July 2nd, 2020 A jubilant Tucker Bradley joined the postgame press conference at Melaleuca Field today to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Billings Mustangs pitching staff he had just vanquished. "It may not have looked like it," said the Idaho Falls Chukars right fielder, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different." That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-6 hitting performance, which led the Chukars to a 9-8 win. "He made it look easy," said Bryan LaHair, manager of the Mustangs. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously." Tucker Bradley singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. To date this year Bradley is batting .387 with 1 home run. |
