Injury Shuts Down Olivero for Season Saturday, July 4th, 2020 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Washington (DSL)'s Sebastian Olivero to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 07/02/2020 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Olivero said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Olivero has been out of action since he suffered radial nerve compression. Olivero has taken the mound for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-0 record with a 5.40 ERA. The Washington (DSL) reliever has limited opposing batters to a .273 batting average. |
