DSL Awards Player of the Week Monday, July 6th, 2020 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Tampa Bay (DSL)'s Jhon Diaz put up last week were the envy of the league, as Diaz came away with Dominican Rookie League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 home run and 12 RBIs last week as he posted his .481 batting average. This season in 32 games, Diaz has hit at a .264 clip with 32 hits, 2 home runs, 21 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
