Injury Shuts Down Valdez for Season Thursday, July 9th, 2020 After several days of waiting for test results, bad news was delivered to Joel Valdez today. The Philadelphia (DSL) reliever will be out the rest of the year due to a torn labrum he suffered on 07/06/2020. For the season Valdez is 5-and-0 with no saves and a 2.25 ERA. He has given up 19 hits in 20 innings with 25 strikeouts. |
