San Diego (DSL) RF Polanco Suspended Friday, July 10th, 2020 San Diego (DSL)'s Yohan Polanco has been given a 4-game suspension for his outburst following an ejection in a recent game with the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 2 at Ballpark of Castañuelas. He was called out on a third strike by the plate umpire and halted the game to argue about it. The disgusted Polanco slowly walked back to the dugout with bat in hand, but suddenly turned around and headed toward the umpire. He was stopped by the on-deck hitter and third base coach as his manager continued to argue the call. A moment later, Polanco was ejected. Polanco is batting at a .241 pace this season, picking up 13 hits in 54 at-bats with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 4 runs scored. |
