Houston (DSL) Loses Taveras for Season Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Houston (DSL) Astros: starting pitcher Diosmerky Taveras is out for the year. Taveras suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 07/13/2020. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. To date this season Taveras is 1-4 with 8 starts and an ERA of 5.46 with 35 strikeouts in 29.2 innings. |
