League Punishes Pair for Fighting Thursday, June 4th, 2020 After an intense confrontation, both the Phillies White Uziel Viloria and the Athletics Wander Guante were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Philadelphia (DSL)-Oakland (DSL) game. Uziel Viloria will miss 3 games, while Wander Guante was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Uziel Viloria commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." |
