Jimenez Has Season End Monday, June 15th, 2020 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 2: reliever Marco Jimenez is out for the year. Jimenez suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 06/13/2020. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. This season Jimenez has chalked up a 2.25 ERA while ringing up no saves with 2 wins and no losses. He has made 5 relief appearances, pitching 8 innings, giving up 5 hits, and holding opponents to a .185 batting average. Jimenez has also recorded 8 strikeouts and allowed 3 walks. |
