Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Wednesday, June 24th, 2020 Antoni Flores of the Boston (DSL) Red Sox 2 and Jordany Ventura of the New York N (DSL) Mets 2 will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Red Sox 2-Mets 2 game at Frozen Ropes Ballpark. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Flores and Ventura will begin serving them soon. Presently Flores is batting .299 and has collected no home runs, 12 RBIs, .409 OBP and scored 9 runs. On his stats sheet for the year Ventura shows a 1-2 record, 5 starts, 22.2 innings, 21 strikeouts and a 3.97 ERA. |
