Baez Gets 5 Hits Friday, June 26th, 2020 Yancarlos Baez had an answer for everything the Detroit (DSL) Tigers 1 threw at him today at Rawling Foundation Complex. The San Francisco (DSL) second baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Giants 1 on top, 16-8. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Baez said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Yancarlos Baez hit a two-run double in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Hendry Nunez in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Presently Baez is batting .475 and has collected 1 home run, 17 RBIs, .533 OBP and scored 9 runs. |
