Angels Drop 4-1 Decision
|
The Cleveland Indians got a strong performance from pitcher Mike Clevinger, who stymied the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. With the win, Cleveland raised its record to 35-22.
It could have been a different outcome for Cleveland, had it not been for Jordan Luplow, the 26-year old left fielder . Luplow contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put Cleveland up, 2-0.
"We take it day by day here," said Luplow, "and today was a good one for us."
