Binghamton-Akron Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Binghamton-Akron contest at NYSEG Stadium. The Rumble Ponies Jose Alfonso Medina and the RubberDucks Kyle Nelson will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the season Medina is batting .199 with 28 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 14 times and batted in 13. To date, Nelson has collected 1 save in 20 relief appearances. He has rung up 31 strikeouts and 6 walks in 32.1 innings while registering a 4.45 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record. |
