Cumana Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 The hitting streak for Reading second baseman Grenny Cumana now stands at 20 games, but the Fightin Phils dropped today's contest 7-4 to the Altoona Curve. Cumana went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally today," he said later. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Grenny Cumana grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th and singled in the 7th. Cumana's current batting average stands at .318 and he has chalked up 3 home runs and 21 RBIs. |
