EL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 22nd, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Eastern League, but last week Travis Swaggerty of the Altoona Curve reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Swaggerty rocked opposing pitching for a .375 average (9-for-24), 2 home runs and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Swaggerty is batting .256 with 10 home runs and 30 RBIs this season. |
