Week's Top Player: Altoona's Cruz Monday, June 29th, 2020 The Eastern League made it official today: Oneil Cruz is the Player of the Week. He really glistened on the diamond this week with a .367 average to take home the honor. The Altoona shortstop went 11-for-30, drove in 20 runs, scored 11 times and hit 4 home runs. For the season Cruz has produced 83 hits in 278 at-bats for a .299 average with 13 home runs and gotten on base at a .394 clip. |
