Great Day for Perkins -- 5 Hits Tuesday, June 9th, 2020 It was nearly a perfect day for Blake Perkins at Arvest Ballpark. Although the Northwest Arkansas Naturals center fielder was sensational at the plate, collecting 5 base hits in 5 at-bats, it just wasn't enough to keep the Naturals from falling to the Tulsa Drillers. Tulsa spoiled his great day at the plate by taking a 9-6 win. Blake Perkins singled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Leo Crawford in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Perkins has hit .242 with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs. |
