CAL Honors Rancho Cucamonga Right Fielder Monday, May 25th, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the California League, but last week Carlos Rincon of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Rincon rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (9-for-18), 4 home runs and 14 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Rincon is swinging the bat at a .308 pace. He has hit 12 home runs and scored 30 times, while driving in 44. His on-base percentage is .438 and he has played in 39 games. |
