Season-Ending Injury for Williams

In a news release, the Kane County Cougars announced that reliever Breckin Williams would miss the rest of the season due to a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Williams sustained the injury on 05/21/2020. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager.

Williams has pitched 20.2 innings and molded a 0.87 ERA with no saves. He has surrendered 11 hits while registering 19 strikeouts on his way to a 2-0 record for the Cougars this year.
