Kane County Loses Brill for Season
Thursday, May 28th, 2020
Matt Brill has to call it a season. The Kane County Cougars reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 05/26/2020 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months. The team will likely place Brill on the injured list today.

So far this season, in 18 relief appearances Brill has compiled an ERA of 4.50. He has pitched 22 innings, struck out 19, walked 9 and registered no saves.
