South Bend's Davis MID #1 Batter in May Monday, June 1st, 2020 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 20 Brennen Davis has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young South Bend Cubs star can enjoy the numbers he put up in May, which have garnered him the nod as the Midwest League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .321 average with 6 home runs, 24 RBIs and 16 runs scored. So far this season, Davis has recorded a .322 batting average with 59 hits, 11 home runs, 40 RBIs, 34 runs scored and a .426 OBP. |
