Injury Shuts Down Brettell for Season Saturday, June 20th, 2020 Michael Brettell had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament on 06/17/2020. Today he received word from the Peoria doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. This season Brettell has logged 24 relief appearances, 25.2 IP, 24 strikeouts, and a 2.10 ERA. His W-L mark is 2 wins and no losses, and he has 12 saves. |
