Season Over for Vergara Friday, June 26th, 2020 Jhon Vergara has to call it a season. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 06/24/2020 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 9 months. The team will likely place Vergara on the injured list today. |
